Trento is a stratified city, historically and urbanistically. We pass from the labyrinthine alleys to the Renaissance wide streets, from the tower-houses to the frescoed ones, to the hinge places between the sacred and the profane: the cathedral, the Buonconsiglio castle, the squares. Perhaps for all this, even where modernism seems most evident, it remains an extremely restful city, on a human scale: wandering means finding, for the human soul, its own dimension, the historical and artistic one. But also a fantastic dimension, in which walking helps us to know the hidden shapes of the city, beyond its real topography.
There's a lot more.
